Very thin yarn, available in several dope dyed colours. Good brightness properties coming from the specific cross section of the TRILOBAL filament.
The light is reflected by the filament in a peculiar way which makes each colour very effective and special: reflection of colour under the direct sun light has a metallic look.
Duly and properly used in each textile application, this yarn acts as a key ingredient to give a discrete touch of changing metallic luster whose shade is more or less enhanced according to the yarn and colour which it is matched.
This yarn is resistant to overdyeing of other fibers such as cellulosic, protein and polyamides.
Ideal yarn if managed as a binding element of a Fancy yarn, as a ground in warping or applied as a weft (may be alternating with other bulkier yarns)… just to give luster and brightness.
